OLD MONK

1. BUDDHA PADRI . As every sip of this amber liquid passes my parched soul, it stirs the balance (or the semblance of it) of Inertia and increases my entropy to a level/zenith of such pleasure as could only be deemed to be the GODS VERY OWN OASIS in a dry desert. Yup friends I am Indeed talking about one of the unique creations of mankind which we in INDIA have named as Old Monk and come to love as the budha padri (a literal translation in Hindi) .

2. Geographical Distribution . The Nectar is sipped from the parched lands of thar desert in Rajasthan to the wettest cherrapunji and the coldest Drass to the hottest Churu and word has it that it has always delivered in happiness quotient and its promises. Guys YES I'm talking about FEELINGS wherein the toughest of situations and geographical regions become your best experiences with a jaam (session) of old monk.

3. Foreign Tenure . I still remember offering old monk to my foreign blokes and how they danced to its subtle twirls and spillages.... The order was military in manner with the decor of a freedom as experienced in the innermost chambers of your HEART. Heart it surely wins as it personifies a Gentleman in his finest and noblest of demeanor once having tasted this devil. A widely acclaimed and accepted RUM it Criss CROSSES across a spectrum of spirits to outshine the finest of Scotch.

7. End Notes. The rum is sold in four size variants 180 ml (quarter/ pauaa), 375 ml (half/ addha), 750 ml (commonly referred to as a "khamba" meaning "full bottle"), and a 1 liter bottle. It is a dark rum with a distinct vanilla flavour similar to other spiced rums, with an alchohol content of 42.8%. It is produced by Mohan Meakin, based in Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad , UTTAR PRADESH. I have a wish that my ashes be immersed in the GANGES with the haze and protective gaze of the Saint looking over me. HAPPY drinking to one and all.
